Poppies is an exclusive hideaway in a lush tropical setting adjacent to the finest sandy beach in Koh Samui. Located at the south end of Chaweng, away from the hustle and bustle of the main resort area. There are 24 luxuriously appointed Thai-style cottages, each offering privacy from the others, set in colourful and exotic gardens, meandering paths, bubbling streams, fish ponds, teak bridges, waterfalls and a free form swimming pool.

Location
Poppies, Southern Chaweng Beach, Koh Samui. Well away from the hustle & bustle of central Chaweng, yet close enough to walk there in 15 minutes along the superb white sand beach (Koh Samui's finest). Only 15 minutes drive away from the airport, which is a 70 minutes flight from Bangkok and seemingly a million miles from home.

Room
Just 24 luxuriously appointed Thai-style cottages hide amid the greenery, each offering privacy from the others, and each surrounded by colourful and exotic gardens, with meandering paths, bubbling streams, fish ponds, teak bridges and waterfalls.
Each cottage is a small suite comprising a sleeping area with either queensize or twin single beds and a living area, with table and chairs and a sofa that converts to a full-size single bed. Outside there is a private terrace overlooking the gardens. Our cottages combine the best of Thai style with Western comforts and amenities. The carved roof panels, doors, floors and windows are of solid teak and the fabrics are of finest Thai cotton and silk.

I wish I could vote a '10' for this hotel. Absolutely beautiful w/ every amenity attended to. The restaurant is fabulous- quite diverse and always an added twist to the local fare. Very very very pleased w/ Poppies.
