A superb northen hill resort in the heart of Mekong Region at the Golden Triangle where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Myanmar meet. It is located 50 minutes from Chiang Rai.

Baan Boran Resort comprises of 106 hilltop guest rooms and 4suite rooms each served well by all the amenities, and are cast in beautiful Royal Thai Lanna decor with private terraces overlooking the mighty Mekong river.
All guest rooms include color TV with satellite link up, air conditioning, fully stocked mini bar, IDD telephone, personal safe and deluxe bathroom with a full set of toiletries, bathrobes and slippers. Complimentary tea & coffee making facilities are available in all deluxe rooms.

Facility
Le Meridien Baan Boran voted the best hotel in northern Thailand is always an adventure. In the morning, you can race down teh Mekong in longtail boats, trek through the jungle on elephants or mountain bike down steep, winding tracks. In the afternoon, you can play tennis or work out in the gym. So by evening, you are nicely warmed bu for a night of entertainment in one of our bars of restaurants.

Yuan Lue Lao - Informal dining can be enjoyed from breakfast time through to late night snacks with a menu of Thai and international cuisine served in an airy setting overlooking the Ruak River. Seating 95 people. (Opening hours 06:00 -24:00 hrs)
Hilltop - Informal B.B.Q. dinner served on the top of the hill overlooking the picturesque Ruak River and the Mighty Mekong River. Seating 80 people. (Opening hours 18:00 - 23:30 Nov - March)
Trafficker Rendez-Vous - A great place for relaxing at cocktail time with its fireplace ambience and piano music, overlooking the hotel's swimming pool. Seating 45 people. (Opening hours 15:00-24:00)
Triangle Deck - An informal spot for iced drinks, light refreshments and full meals served in the poolside tropical garden against a backdrop of forested hills. (Opening hours 10:00-18:00)
The Opium Den - Here is the cozy spot where exotic cocktails are served. Decorated with all original hilltribe's handcrafts and costumes, the Opium Den is fully equipped with Karaoke, pool table, dart board and other fun games. Seating 25 people. (Opening hours 15:00-24:00 and 17:00-01:00 only all year round)

A glorious hotel. Splended scenery. Great base for travelling round. Very little to do of an evening. One of the most ideallic hotels we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. Would give 10/10 for standard of hotel and situation.

excellent hotel, views are stunning.Set in the jungle this hotel gives all the facilities of any 5 star hotel but with the remotness to allow for relaxation in luxury.An excellent place to unwind. We will definitly go bck again.
