SUAN BUA RESTAURANT

For conferences, lavish banquets and international events, the Bangkok Convention Centre in The Central Plaza Complex is next to none. Spacious, dramatically designed, with extensive audio visual support, it can accommodate 3,800 people for theatre style conference meetings and 5,000 guests for cocktail functions.
The hotel’s facilities include 26 well equipped meeting rooms, including Vibhavadee Ballroom with 1985 square metres of floor space, Seating capacity is 1,000 for sit-down dinners and 2,500 for cocktails. Also part of the hotel and complex is the Bangkok Convention Centre with over 5,000 square metres of space auditorium style. It is well equipped for all kinds of meetings, with advanced audio-visual equipment and complete meetings paraphernalia.
The Bangkok Convention Centre is on two floors - a main auditorium on the 5th floor that is 2,506 sq meters and pillarless as well as an all-purpose exhibition hall on the 4th floor bringing the total of useable space to 6,199 sq metres. This can moulded to suit any function making it popular for conventions, theatre style meetings as well as banquets. The new "Sky Hall" is intended to be a supporting facility to increase our competitiveness in the MICE market and to enhance the BCC's multi-purpose capability. With the growing demands for more exhibition space from Association, Convention and Exhibition Planners, the BCC is in the process of adding a new "Sky Hall" which will extend onto the 6th FL car park. Construction is scheduled to be completed in March 2002. Total area of the Hall is approximately 3,640 square metres.
