Benjasiri Park
This park is very pleasant for an early morning or late afternoon stroll. Jogging is also popular along the path around the park for a distance of 800 meters. And walking across the park you can get to the skytrain which can take you quite far including the Chatuchack Market and the Mah Boon Krong.
Shopping Complex
This is near to the hotel. There you will be able to find most things you want from the up market stores - the variety of restaurants and the very modern cinema complex with the latest in Hollywood (and other) offerings.

In Sukhumvit 24 and 33 there are many good entertainment places and restaurants. The Washington complex and the Soi Cowboy up the street provide more risque entertainment.

Getting the Bangkok Post every morning gives you the opportunity to know "Whats going on in Bangkok" - So I was lucky to see more than the average tourist. Swimming pool is very nice on top of the 8th floor.

Great place. The rooms are clean and the rate is very reasonable. There are many Japanese guests. This is usually a good sign because Japanese people do not like untidy rooms and facilities.
