Location
located right on Silom road, the spine of the blossoming central business district. Attractions such as Chao Phraya river and Patpong are within easy walking distance. The hotel is approximately 40-90 minutes drive from Don Muang International Airport depending on the day and time.

Room
The hotel has a total 726 guest rooms situated in two towers, Plaza and Crowne.
Plaza Tower
The Plaza Tower has 385 tastefully decorated guest rooms. Featuring high ceilings including seven Suites, 175 King Leisure rooms of with leisure/work areas. All rooms have individual thermostat control central air conditioning with bathroom, color TV with 7 channel Cable, On Command video channels, radio, telephone with IDD facility, mini bar and hair dryer.
Crowne Tower
There are 341 well appointed Superior and Deluxe guest rooms including 17 Executive Suites and 1 Presidential Suite. Rooms have a large bathroom with seperate bath and shower, a day safe a large workdesk with modem port and electronic bedside control.
Junior Suite
For the jaded traveler our Junior Suites are most suitable. Consisting of a living room with a large sofa set and a separate bedroom with a king sized bed, 1 bathroom and 1 guest toilet, 2 television sets, mini-bar, radio, hair dryer, writing desk.
Deluxe Room
Each floor has 2 deluxe rooms one on each end. This type of room is identical to the superior room except that there is a large walk in closet with a ceiling to floor window overlooking bustling Silom Road and the rest of Bangkok.
Executive Suite
Going into our beautifully appointed Executive Suites guests will first enter a living room complete with plush sofa, dining table, radio, television and a working desk plus a guest toilet. Then a powder room for the ladies with a view of the majestic Chao Phraya River precedes the bedroom with another television and the bathroom. This is the perfect room for the business traveller who would need a separate working area to conduct business discussion in the privacy of their own room.
Presidential Suite
Our one Presidential Suite is on the 27th floor featuring 1 a large master bedroom with a four posted king-sized bed, in-suite jacuzzi, living area, large dining room and kitchen plus all the amenities required for the top executive. Another connecting superior room can be added to become a two bedroom Presidential Suite.

Meeting Room
The Crystal Ballroom has a total area of 916 square metres with a capacity for hosting up to 850 guests for cocktails and 550 for a sit down dinner.
The ballroom located at the lower level of the hotel is flexible in it's layout and can be broken up into three separate function rooms. This allows the organiser to tailor the venue according to their requirements. The Crystal Ballroom has state-of-the-art equipment and ensures a successful conference, seminar, exhibition or meeting.
The Emerald I,II, and III accommo dates up to 230 theatre style or 130 conference style and may also be divided up into three smaller break out rooms. The Topaz room located direcily opposite the Emerald room is perfect for small meetings up to 20 persons.

The Business Centre is fully equipped to provide all business needs. Services include stenography , telex, facsimile, cables, word processor, photocopying, mailing, translation, full secretarial, courier service and other business related services. Private conference rooms and offices are also available.

I have stayed at this hotel the last four times I visited Bangkok. The latest being in March of this year (2003). I have stayed at many other hotels in Bangkok but this is my favorite. The food is excellent as well as the friendly professional hotel personnel. I love Thailand and the Thai people and I love staying at the Crowne Plaza. Highly recommend it to one and all! Highest rating possible.
